The services Create Your Story (hereinafter “CYS”, “we”, “our”, and “us”) provides to you are subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein (“Terms & Conditions”), which governs your access and/or use of this website, our platform and/or use of any mobile versions, content, courses, programs, materials, blogs, podcasts, products, services, events, and any websites that CYS may have now and/or in the future and/or the assistance in the planning and execution of certain elements pertaining to your Wedding or Exclusive Event (collectively the “Services”).
By accepting and/or using the Services, you signify your agreement with this Terms & Conditions and are entering into a legally binding agreement with CYS. Please read this Terms & Conditions carefully. If you do not accept this Terms & Conditions, now or in the future, please stop your use of the Services immediately, in which case any continuing access and/or use of the Services is unauthorised. You further acknowledge that you are using the Services for your own sole purpose and not for the benefit of a competitor.
PRIVACY POLICY
You also agree to the Company’s privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) and consent to any personal information we may obtain about you being collected, stored, and/or otherwise processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and this Terms & Conditions.
COOPERATION & COMMUNICATION
The parties agree to cooperate and communicate in good terms for the best possible result within the definition of the assignment. To eliminate confusion and to ensure the best result, it is understood and agreed that CYS is the exclusive wedding planner company and vendors are contacted and handled by CYS only.
We install our communication tools for the best service experience. All communication is handled via Email or WhatsApp. The WhatsApp Group will be monitored and ideas received, all shared ideas will be discussed in the scheduled meetings. Meetings are either on Zoom (we provide the link before the meeting) or in person, if scheduled minimum one week prior to the appointment and taking place at the CYS Studio. To reschedule one of our meetings it needs a minimum notice of 48 hours to be fully replaced by another meeting. For project coordination we use Trello and only our proofed templates.
The client shall provide CYS with contact names, telephone numbers and any scheduled timetables for all helpers, service providers and key contact persons involved in the wedding ceremony/reception no later than 30 days prior to the wedding. The client shall notify CYS of any changes in a timely manner. The client agrees not to hold CYS liable for the cost or damage resulting from any changes made by the client or the client’s selected service providers and empower CYS at their professional judgment and discretion, to take appropriate actions regarding changes, weather, tardiness, non-performance, etc. based on the situation, time limitations and/or the clients wishes. In the event a venue coordinator is on site CYS will work with the client and the coordinator as needed.
As the client, you will trust and rely on CYS expertise to decide on event specific processes. Such as how many people need to work on site and how many hours may be reasonably necessary to fulfil the obligations under this agreement. Specific vendor recommendations are made for services like photography, videography, make up & hairstyling, entertainment, or other wedding related vendors (this does not apply for flowers, event material, furniture rental or other design partner). The creation and realisation of the event vision and design, sketches and visualisations is done by CYS and includes the collaboration with all involved and carefully selected vendors only. All moodboards and inspiration pictures shown to the Client are for illustration purposes only. The styling (including props and décor material) and fresh flower selection on the actual day may vary in colour, look and feel. We will endeavour to meet your requests for specific fresh flowers but cannot guarantee successful procurement due to seasonal availability and impact on cost. We will, should the need arise, select alternative fresh flowers (in similar shades and in line with the colour theme) at our sole discretion. Fresh flowers are prone to premature wilting in our tropical climate. We will endeavour to maintain the quality of the flowers, but this cannot be guaranteed for the entire duration of your event.
Note: The services listed in the service arrangement document do not include running any wedding related errands such as picking up or delivering attire, supplies or equipment, documents, transportation, or support with hotel check-ins or -outs, etc. if not stated otherwise.
PAYMENT
The payment is due and regulated based on the client’s individual contract. The fees are agreed to be a Project Fee and following invoice instalments. All fees paid are non-refundable. The payment may be made via PayNow or bank transfer. If a payment via Credit Card is preferred, a surcharge of 4,0% is to be added to the stipulated amount above.
Payment of the project fee for the service arrangement and acknowledgement of the offer sent by Create Your Story (CYS) is taken as an agreement to the costs, inclusions, payment conditions as well as the legally binding Terms & Conditions. The payment of the project fee does secure a booking with CYS for the selected event date(s) and bespoke services. There is no secured booking and services will not commence until this payment is received and cleared.
The remaining of the total balance of the service arrangement fee and any additional charges incurred during the planning period payable to CYS is due one (1) month / four (4) weeks prior to the event date. In the case of any booking for an event date of less than six (6) weeks from the date of the contract, full payment of the agreed service arrangement and its inclusions as outlined will be payable immediately. A suitable payment plan can be arranged on a monthly basis, if required.
Late payments beyond 14 days of the due date will incur a late fee of 10% per week until the outstanding balance is cleared. Services may be paused until payment is received. In the event of contract termination before completion, payment will be due on a pro-rata basis for the services rendered up to that point. Any non-refundable fees paid remain non-refundable.
CYS will assist in the planning and execution of certain elements pertaining to your Wedding or Exclusive Event. It is the understanding that Clients will retain CYS as a professional event planning service and under the Clients’ direction, guidance and assistance, CYS will provide the appropriate planning and execution of the services outlined.

RIGHTS AND LIMITS OF LIABILITY
The role of CYS will be the one of advisor, consultant and coordinator.
Clients will make the actual selections of service providers and CYS will implement those selections. Clients will make payments directly to the service providers/vendors, except those that are within and part of the CYS services. CYS does not accept any commissions from recommended vendors and cannot guarantee any service provider’s reliability, performance, or product.
Clients grant CYS and its legal representatives, heirs and assigns, the irrevocable and unlimited consent to use the photographs, videos and similar content of Clients for editorial, competition, advertising and any other purpose without restriction.
If CYS cannot perform this Agreement in whole or in part due to force majeure like a fire, flood, civil or industrial disputes, riots, governmental regulations or acts of God or nature or terror, or other casualty alike neither party shall be liable. If it is due to the assigned planner’s illness, injury, or termination of employment, CYS will arrange for another competent and equivalent planner to take over to the best ability. If CYS is unable to arrange for the replacement, then the liability for CYS is limited to the return of the collected booking fee to Clients but shall have no further liability with respect to this Agreement. Clients agree that CYS and/or the planner are not responsible for any other damages, emotional or otherwise and hereby release CYS and its legal representatives, heirs and assigns from all liability and claims in connection with the planning services.
TRANSPORTATION AND TRAVEL FEES
In cases where there is transportation or traveling involved, for example in service arrangements for destination weddings, the costs for the assigned planner are covered within the offered amount in the service agreement. If there is any additional transport or travel requirement necessary due to the planning process or request of Clients, there will be an additional offer to accept by the Client.
MEALS
The assigned planner of the Company will need to eat in order to replenish their energy and stay in tip-top condition. Clients agree to provide reasonable meals for the Company and the assigned planners during the length of the event. In cases where a buffet is catered, Clients agree to provide a share for the Company. In cases where the event is over several days the meals are provided over the whole duration of the event(s) or will be part of the final invoice sent to Clients.
VENUE RULES & REGULATIONS
Note that CYS is sometimes limited by rules imposed by venue management as to what can and cannot be done. In such circumstances Clients agree to accept the technical limitations that may be imposed on the planning or equipment used. Clients are advised to make themselves aware of the rules of the venue concerned and if necessary, negotiate with the personnel concerned.
All reasonable measures will be taken to ensure that all planned items are fitted for the venue, hence we disclaim all liability that arises from any unforeseen circumstances or venue constraints beyond its control, which causes the replacement and/or removal of certain items before or during the event. We require an estimated minimum set-up period beforehand where we have full access to the event venue for the entirety of the minimum set-up period. Failure by the venue availability may result in us not being able to carry out the services stipulated herein in full or in a timely manner. In such event, any services we have carried out will be deemed to be performance of our services.
CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS
With the payment of the booking fee [deposit] the Company will reserve the time agreed upon and will not make another reservation for the specific time frame. For this reason, the deposit is non-refundable even if the date is changed or the wedding / event is cancelled for any reason. In the event of changes, highlights the cost and service impact, if any, to Clients, and obtain the Clients’ acceptance and agreement to proceed with the changes. This shall include cancelation of the event and the consequential cancelation costs applicable to the service providers. Any additional services needed can be offered to the client in an additional package.
COMPLETION CRITERIA
CYS has fulfilled its obligations when any one of the following occurs:
CYS accomplishes the CYS responsibilities described within the service agreement, including delivery of the material listed and the clients accepts such activities and materials without unreasonable objections.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and CYS. No waiver of any provision of this Terms & Conditions may be implied from any failure by CYS to assert its rights under this Terms & Conditions on any occasion or series of occasions. No vendor, distributor, dealer, retailer, or other person is authorised to modify this Terms & Conditions or to make any representation or warranty concerning the website, materials or content provided on or through the Service other than those specifically set forth in this Terms & Conditions.
