The festivities commenced in the elegant setting of The Raffles Hotel, where Mathilde and Keertan’s solemnisation took place in a small, intimate room. The air was filled with love and excitement as the couple exchanged vows in the presence of their close family and friends. Following the solemnization, the newlyweds, along with their guests, gathered at one of the hotel’s exquisite restaurants for a delightful lunch.

The celebration then shifted gears, preparing for the grand Hindu ceremony. The impeccably maintained lawns of The Raffles Hotel provided the perfect canvas for us to work our magic. Together with our talented vendors we were transforming the gazebo into a resplendent mandap was a labour of love for our team. In order to create an ambiance that would leave everyone in awe with the floral arrangements, we worked hand-in-hand with the Indian wedding stylist, the Florist Elly Sera and Lily & Co. to style the event. Collaborating closely with the priest, we and the parents in charge ensured that all essential elements of the traditional Hindu ceremony were flawlessly incorporated. The beauty of cultural fusion was exemplified through the seamless blending of Indian and French elements, creating a truly memorable and meaningful experience for Mathilde, Keertan, and their esteemed guests.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the celebration continued in the majestic Jubilee Ballroom of The Raffles Hotel. This gorgeous venue, adorned with stunning chandeliers, gold Venetian light fixtures, and elegant coffer, provided an exquisite setting for the evening’s festivities. The Jubilee Ballroom, with its capacity to accommodate up to 270 seated guests on round or up to 200 on long table arrangements, offered the perfect space for the couple’s grand reception.
Stepping into the ballroom, guests were captivated by custom upholstered wall panels that depicted the story of Singapore’s culture and the theater’s illustrious legacy. This added an extra touch of significance to the celebration, tying the wedding to the rich history of the venue.
To reflect the beautiful fusion of Indian and French cultures, the ballroom was adorned with magnificent floral centerpieces and modern table settings. The elegant combination of fuchsia-coloured flower arrangements and traditional Indian music transported everyone into a world of enchantment.
The couple’s creativity and attention to detail were showcased through personalised banners and money boxes that exuded sophistication and uniqueness. Every aspect of the reception was a reflection of Mathilde and Keertan’s love story, drawing inspiration from their diverse backgrounds and experiences.
