Keyaki Wedding
Leann and Lester’s Keyaki wedding was a lovely combination of Japanese-inspired elegance and traditional Chinese culture. The Create Your Story team was honoured to help them plan their dream wedding. To make this a perfect day for them, we took care to pay attention to every detail.
The festivities began at Leann’s home, where she had her makeup artfully done by the talented Klarissa from Autelier Makeup and donned her exquisite bridal gown crafted by Love Wedding Atelier. During the traditional veiling scene her parents placed the veil lovingly over her head before Lester arrived to escort his stunning bride.
Lester arrived at Leann’s residence, bearing a breathtaking spring garden-themed bouquet skillfully crafted by 85 Flowers. Adding a splash of vibrant color to the enchanting atmosphere made the day all the more magical.
After a series of gatecrash games by the bridal party and a heartwarming tea ceremony at the groom’s house, Leann and Lester headed to Keyaki for their solemnization. Among a beautifully landscaped Japanese garden, the newly-built Garden Pavilion was adorned with traditional Shoji-inspired screens, giving it a feeling of exclusivity and elegance. With seating for 40, it was the perfect backdrop for their Japanese-inspired wedding, seamlessly blending decor with surroundings to create a captivating atmosphere.
We designed two lush deconstructed arches to evoke the essence of a Japanese spring garden theme with our exquisite styling and floral arrangements from 85 Flowers and Sing See Soon. There were blush roses, carnations, freesias, eustomas, sweetpeas, orchids, ranunculus, alstroemeria, and delphiniums.
Leann and Lester added an extra touch of beauty to their solemnization by opting for exquisite couple chair decor, elevating the entire setting with a touch of elegance and style.
After the wedding, guests were transported to the elegant Shangri-La Hotel for the reception, where Keyaki’s floral decor found a second life, harmonising seamlessly with the venue’s ambiance. Repurposing flowers from one event area or location to another is close to our heart to use the beautifully created flower arrangement throughout a wedding day and not only that, but the couple saves quite some money along the way. It served as a demonstration of the beauty of combining traditional culture with personal interests. Lester and Leann’s wedding went beyond mere event status; it became an unforgettable experience. In our role as wedding planners, we loved crafting a celebration that will live on in everyone’s hearts forever.
